Joshua Drucker

On October 20, 2011 at 6:03 pm, a jury of 12 (10 men and 2 women) sentenced Joshua to death. He now sits on Georgia's Death Row in Jackson Georgia as he fights for his freedom through the lengthy and harsh appeal process.

Joshua is confined to an 8 by 8 cell for 23 out 24 hours a day. His days mostly consist of reading and writing. He tries to stay positive not only for himself, but for those around him. He is determined to be a “light” in such a “dark” environment.

Joshua has been saved for more than fifteen years, and a dedicated student of God's Word for over ten years. In 1999, he was called by God to preach, teach, and write for the Kingdom of God. When called, he went full speed ahead, but hit many bumps in the road. Joshua has experienced first hand the wicked attacks of Satan, as the enemy has attempted to destroy his life, family, calling, and ministry. He has seen the ups and downs, but still holds on each and everyday to the mercy seat of God.

Joshua's life paints a perfect picture of what God is able to do with the broken. He has passed through the water, walked through the fire, transcended formidable walls, and has survived. Now his survival has become his success.

In August 2007, the Holy Spirit laid the idea for an internet ministry on Joshua's heart. Since then, Joshua has been writing sermons from a cold jail cell and sending them home to be typed up.

Joshua is the founder and primary writer for Today Christian Ministries. Joshua is also a man of prayer who often prays for this ministry, and for every individual who receives his weekly sermons.
